I marked through the items not to be released.
I have reviewed a copy of the Student Handbook. I understand that the handbook contains information that my child and I may need during the school year. (A copy of the handbook is available on the Simms ISD website, www.simmsisd.net, or may be provided upon request.)

In School Suspension Guidelines
A student being placed in ISS (In School Suspension) is a direct result of a Level II and possibly Level III offense. The duration in ISS will be a minimum of three days. While in ISS students are to remain seated, quiet, and working. A student who continues disruptive behavior in ISS will be assigned the next discipline step in the discipline cycle. While assigned to ISS students are not permitted to enter any of the school buildings, other than the ISS building, without permission from the ISS teacher or the principal. While in ISS, students are not allowed to attend or participate in any extra-curricular activities (after school practice is allowed). Upon arriving at school, students assigned to ISS will report immediately to the cafeteria. Breakfast and lunch arrangements will be made by the ISS teacher.
