I started teaching at Simms in August 2006.

This is my 12^th year with the district.

I teach 7^th Grade Reading & Writing

I married my high school sweetheart, Charles “Skeet” Allen, in 2002.  October will be 16 years that we have been married. 

We have 2 kids, Clay is 13 and Callie is 8.  They both attend school here at James Bowie.  Clay is in the 7^th grade.  He is currently in the James Bowie High School Band and wants to participate in athletics.  Callie will be in the 4^th grade.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I am also very active in our church.  My husband and I are over the children’s program at Rock Creek Baptist Church.
