We are here to help with all of your FAFSA questions!

What is the FAFSA? The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the most important application you must complete in order to qualify for almost all types of financial aid including federal, state and local scholarships.

Who completes the FAFSA?  Any student enrolling in a technical school, junior college or university must complete the FAFSA.

What if I think my student would not qualify for financial assistance? Completing the FAFSA is a requirement regardless of income.

What do I need in order to complete the FAFSA? You will need social security numbers, drivers’ license numbers, W2 forms and Federal Income Tax Returns (1040) from 2019.

Completing the FAFSA can be a grueling process.  Please join us in the cafeteria on Tuesday, November 10th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Texarkana College’s Financial Aid Department will be here to walk you through the process!  Laptops will be available, and the experts will be here to answer any questions.  If you have all of the required information above, you could have your application submitted that evening!  *TC will only be here to offer their expertise.  Students DO NOT have to be attending TC to get this help!

Please see the flyer below and let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you!
